Workspace develops business software for freelancers, SME’s and accountancy. In recent years, Workspace has a acquired a strong position in the market of billing-software. Workspace has the ambition to position its software as a strong ‘all-in-one-solution’ and asked Nordhaven to develop a digital strategy, which must result in increasing the overall marketshare.

To realize the preferred growth, a strong increase in users was necessary. Besides that, the customer experience had to be optimized on all online channels in order to be able to serve prospects as well as existing clients.
Our role was foremost advising and coordination. Workspace has its own marketing department, which has all the necessary expertise to execute the required activities.
We started with a marketingresearch, which resulted in several diverse recommendations. Together with the internal marketing department, we created a longlist of initiatives and executed this based on priorities. The most important milestones included the creation of a new website, conforming the price to market standards and setting up a social media strategy and an advertising campaign.
We also advised and guided Workspace in the establishment of Workfield, a software package that was developed in cooperation with the online accounting software Twinfield, which is property of Wolters Kluwer. For this also, in cooperation with the marketing department, a completely new proposition was developed including all marketingtools and resources, such as the website and advertising campaigns.
The activities have, within the time span of under 1 year, resulted in a revenue growth of 62%. This increase even continued within the first year after this project.
